The DIVA of Dirt Patti O’Neal

February 12 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Patti O’Neal

Former Extension Program Associate for Jefferson County

AKA, The Diva of Dirt

Of all the garden equipment, materials, supplies and knowledge you collect, knowing how to treat your soil is the number one most important.  Soil informs the health of your plants (and you in the instance of food production!) the color and the efficacy of your plants.  It is the “giver of plant life” and if you master it, your plants will produce to their highest capacity for you.  It never hurts to re-visit best practices for the growth of healthy living soil and to learn what soil farmers are doing today to bring us back to an environment of living soil – no matter what you grow.

Let’s review best management practices for living soil and what we can all do to contribute to the “living land” and have your best roses ever.
