Virtual Tour of the American Rose Society Gardens

May 15, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

| Free

presented by Diana Kilmer

The May program is about the rose gardens at ARS headquarters and the long-term plans of planting the roses of yesterday, today and tomorrow using the design of the inner workings of a watch. There are 4 main gears of different sizes and the new garden design has 4 circles to represent the inside disc of the watch. Paul Zimmerman created the design, and this concept has started to come together with the work of many people. The removal of 40 large trees was the first step so the roses will have the sunshine they need to grow and flourish, and all who visit the American Rose Center will be able to enjoy these roses for years to come.

These changes are coming about with the help of donations from all ARS members. No matter how big or small, your donation will help fund circle # 3. The first 2 circles are already funded and once circle # 3 is completely funded the Baird Foundation will donate the remaining amount of funds to cover circle # 4.

Please come join the fun on May 15th to see all the changes in the gardens at ARS headquarters.
