“Cooking with Roses”
Speaker: Milena Nichols
Milena is a self-taught baker who owns a small baking company named Save Room for Dessert. Milena graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011 with her Bachelor’s in Humanities, French and Leadership. She then went into the food and beverage industry, spending 6 years in Coffee and Tea and then 7 years in Ice Cream. Along the way, she realized her passion for baking and creating artisanal goods. During college, Milena was determined to re-create her grandmother’s extra-moist (boxed) chocolate cake from scratch and that lead to months of R&D until she had created her own (clean) cake base. Milena opened her first baking company, Bisous Baking in 2013, specializing in French Macarons, Cupcakes, Cookies and Cakes. Bisous Baking delivered wholesale goods to several Boulder coffee shops and Alfalfa’s Market, along with a Farmer’s Market booth in Louisville. Bisous eventually turned into Save Room for Dessert, where she primarily focuses on one of a kind Cakes and Wedding Cakes.

If you would like to “practice” prior to the meeting, I can reserve some time for you as well. For you to access the meeting as the presenter, here is what you need to do:
INSTRUCTIONS:1) Go to www.gotomeeting.com2) Click on the Sign In link in the top right corner (not Join, but Sign In)3) For email address, enter mountaintime@rose.orgthen click Next 4) For password, enter ARS1892!, then click Sign In5) On the lefthand side of the page, you will see a blue bar that says My Personal Meeting Room6) Click on the middle tab that says One-Time. Your meeting will be listed. Click on the meeting date, then click on the blue button Start.7) A white box will drop down from the top of the page that says Open GoToOpener. Click that button. It will take you into your meeting and you can then play around with the meeting controls.If it asks for a Verification Email address, go to www.email.godaddy.com and log in with the mountaintime@rose.orgemail and password. You will then have access to that email account and will get the verification code. (It does not always ask for the Verification Email address, but this is in case it does).
